Love values

Deep feeling and close relationships

The Love family brings together 5 core values: Love, Intimacy, Passion, Relationships and Self-respect. They share a theme, deep feeling and close relationships, and each puts the weight somewhere slightly different. If two or three of them feel true of you, this theme probably matters a lot in how you choose your work and spend your time.

The values in Love

Love

Love as a core value means caring deeply for the people in your life, showing it openly and often, and letting them care for you in return.

Intimacy

Intimacy as a core value means wanting a few close relationships where you are deeply known, where you share your inner life openly and the other person does the same.

Passion

Passion as a core value means caring intensely about a few things, whether people, causes, crafts or ideas, and bringing real energy and feeling to them.

Relationships

Relationships as a core value means investing time and effort in the people in your life, deliberately building and keeping connections with family, friends and colleagues over many years.

Self-respect

Self-respect as a core value means treating yourself as someone who deserves decent treatment, and showing it in the standards you keep, the limits you set and how you speak to yourself.
