Your answers are yours

The short version: the exercise runs in your browser, nothing is stored on a server, and your email address is only used for what you ask.

While you do the exercise

Your picks, scores and statements are saved in your own browser (local storage) so you can pick up where you left off. They are not sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data, or using “Start again”, removes them.

Downloading the PDF

Your report is sent to this site’s server only to create the PDF, then discarded. It is not saved or logged.

Emailing the report

If you ask for the report by email, your address and report are used once to send that email through our email provider, Resend. We don’t keep a copy, and you won’t be added to any list unless you tick the newsletter box.

The newsletter

If you tick the box, your email address (and first name, if you gave one) is added to Stuff that MattRs, which is run on Ghost. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.

Fonts

Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address when the page loads.
