Productivity values
Getting things done and keeping momentum
The Productivity family brings together 4 core values: Productivity, Performance, Proactivity and Focus. They share a theme, getting things done and keeping momentum, and each puts the weight somewhere slightly different. If two or three of them feel true of you, this theme probably matters a lot in how you choose your work and spend your time.
The values in Productivity
Productivity
Productivity as a core value means getting worthwhile things done steadily and efficiently, and taking real satisfaction from visible progress at the end of each day.
Performance
Performance as a core value means delivering at a consistently high level when it counts, tracking how you’re doing and using feedback to keep raising your own standard.
Proactivity
Proactivity as a core value means spotting what’s coming and acting on it early, before anyone asks, so issues get handled while they’re still small.
Focus
Focus as a core value means guarding your attention and giving it fully to the few things that matter most, whether that’s a hard problem, a piece of work or a person.
