The Growth family brings together 5 core values: Growth, Learning, Potential, Purpose and Challenge. They share a theme, becoming more than you were, and each puts the weight somewhere slightly different. If two or three of them feel true of you, this theme probably matters a lot in how you choose your work and spend your time.
The values in Growth
Growth
Growth as a core value means steadily becoming more than you were: wiser, braver, more skilled, and choosing experiences, feedback and challenges that stretch you.
Learning
Learning as a core value means always having something new on the go, picking up knowledge and skills throughout your life, and putting what you learn to use.
Potential
Potential as a core value means wanting to make full use of the abilities you and other people have, and feeling uneasy when real talent is left unused.
Purpose
Purpose as a core value means having a clear sense of what you’re here to do, and letting that direction shape your work, your commitments and your choices.
Challenge
Challenge as a core value means seeking out work and experiences that stretch you beyond what you know you can do, and finding energy in the difficulty itself.
