Grace values

Calm, composure and a quiet, balanced life

The Grace family brings together 9 core values: Balance, Calmness, Contentment, Humility, Mindfulness, Patience, Peace, Simplicity and Spirituality. They share a theme, calm, composure and a quiet, balanced life, and each puts the weight somewhere slightly different. If two or three of them feel true of you, this theme probably matters a lot in how you choose your work and spend your time.

The values in Grace

Balance

Balance as a core value means giving each important part of life, such as work, health, family and friendships, enough time and energy so that none is neglected for long.

Calmness

Calmness as a core value means keeping a settled, unhurried mind, especially under pressure, so you can respond to what’s happening with steadiness and good judgement.

Contentment

Contentment as a core value means being at peace with the life you have, finding real satisfaction in ordinary things and feeling no need to chase every upgrade.

Humility

Humility as a core value means seeing your own importance accurately and holding it lightly, staying open to being wrong and to learning from anyone.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness as a core value means paying full attention to the present moment, noticing what you’re doing, thinking and feeling while it’s happening, without rushing to judge it.

Patience

Patience as a core value means waiting well: staying steady and useful while people, plans and results develop at their own pace, and keeping your frustration in check.

Peace

Peace as a core value means seeking harmony, both between people and within yourself, so that relationships are free of lingering conflict and your mind can rest.

Simplicity

Simplicity as a core value means choosing fewer things, steps and commitments, and plainer language, so that what matters is easier to see, do and enjoy.

Spirituality

Spirituality as a core value means making regular space for your inner life and for connection with something larger than yourself, whether through faith, nature, music, meditation or quiet reflection.
